Barcelona make Philippe Coutinho transfer decision as Man Utd circle

Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for Philippe Coutinho just 14 months after his big-money move to the Nou Camp.

The Catalans splashed out £144million to take the Brazilian from Liverpool to La Liga in January last year.

However, Coutinho has so far failed to live up to his massive price tag and has been linked with a move away.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with the playmaker, who has scored nine times so far this season.

And it is claimed Barcelona are now willing to to sell Coutinho, providing they can recoup the majority of the cash they invested.

However, the 26-year-old is reportedly ready to roll up his sleeves and fight for his future at the club.

Barcelona are yet to speak to Coutinho about his future but they are bracing themselves for bids when the transfer window opens in the summer.

The Samba Boy recently admitted he was unsure about his future with the La Liga giants.

He said: "In the last few weeks, months even, I've not been playing well. But I still want to improve.

"I came to Barcelona to give my best. I live for the moment. You never know what the future holds. I am happy with my performance today."
