Barcelona's president Josep Bartomeu has revealed which players the club will not sell this summer, amid Manchester United's links with the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati.
The Catalan club is facing upheaval after their disastrous Champions League exit at the hands of Bayern Munich, losing 8-2 in a one-off quarter-final tie.
The defeat has raised questions over the futures of even Barca's top stars like Lionel Messi, while Dembele and Fati have both been touted for United transfers. The links come amid United's struggles to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
Bartomeu name-checked several stars who were not available for transfer in a unique press conference ahead of Ronald Koeman's appointment as manager, following Quique Setien's sacking.
"Messi is untouchable & non-transferable. He knows it, we all know it," said Bartomeu.
"But there are various non-transferable players like [Marc Andre] Ter Stegen, [Clement] Lenglet, [Nelson] Semedo, [Frenkie] De Jong, [Antoine] Griezmann, [Ousmane] Dembele... players we are counting on in the future.
"We have had [offers] for Ansu Fati, for example.
"But Barca does not want to sell players, although we receive several offers for players.
"We don't want to sell him. He has a great future. I'm telling you from here, he's non-transferable."
MEN Sport understands that neither Dembele nor Fati are priority targets for United. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side remain focussed on trying to do a deal for Sancho, although they are also considering moves for David Brooks, Kinsgsley Coman and Rabbi Matondo.
