Barcelona in mega cash move for Antoine Griezmann as Neymar bid stalls – latest transfer rumours

Barcelona will reportedly pay above Antoine Griezmann’s release clause in a bid to ensure they sign the star from Atletico Madrid.

The Catalan giants have already opened negotiations with their La La rivals – but their attempts to land Neymar are proving more difficult.

Griezmann announced last month he would be quitting Atleti and Barcelona is looking increasingly likely to be his next destination.

And to make sure they secure one of the biggest transfers of this window, the Nou Camp club will pay Atleti €126million – €6m more than the France forward’s release clause.

This is also the same figure the side from the Wanda Metropolitano are due to hand over to Benfica for Joao Felix.

Sport report Barca would pay the fee in installments. Meanwhile, they’re not getting all their own way with regards Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain are proving tricky customers – and Goal say one suitor has pulled out.

Real Madrid are no longer in the running to sign the Brazil superstar which should make Barca’s bid easier.

However, the Ligue 1 champions keep upping Neymar’s price.

Over in Italy, Internazionale are reportedly ready to move for Gareth Bale .

The Serie A side are huge fans of the Madrid forward, although other reports have claimed Bale will now remain at the Bernabeu – despite Zinedine Zidane’s best efforts to move him on.
