Ousmane Dembele's agent has hit out at the suggestion his client could sign for Paris Saint-Germain, saying: "He is going to stay at Barcelona ."
Dembele is a first team player at Camp Nou but has been linked with a switch to France in recent weeks as Barcelona step up their pursuit of Neymar.
Barcelona are desperate to re-sign the Brazil international who left Spain for France in a world-record £198million transfer back in 2017.
So much so that reports from Spain suggest Barcelona are willing to offer PSG £113million up front for Neymar as well as two players in exchange: Dembele and Ivan Rakitic.
The latter has fallen down the pecking order at Camp Nou in recent months given the strength in midfield Barcelona possess.
But France international Dembele is still very much a first team player and, according to his agent, has absolutely no intention of signing for PSG.
"He is going to stay at Barcelona, 100 per cent," Dembele's agent told Telefoot. "There is no possibility that he will leave. He wants and will win at Barcelona."
Dembele's insistence on staying at Barcelona could end Neymar's hopes of returning to Camp Nou.
PSG are already reluctant to let the Brazilian leave this summer and reportedly want more money than £113million up front.
Dembele would soften the blow of losing Neymar for much less than they paid for him back in 2017, but the Frenchman appears unwilling to make the same mistake as the Brazilian in leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain.
