Neymar has signed a new five-year contract with Barcelona, the Spanish champions have announced.
Both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain had been linked with a move for the Brazilian forward, who has two years left on his existing deal, but Barcelona confirmed a new deal for Neymar on Friday.
A statement on the club’s website added that Neymar’s buyout clause has been fixed at €200m for the first year of his contract, €222m for the second and €250m for the remaining three years.
Neymar has scored 85 goals in 141 matches in his three seasons with Barça, helping them to two league titles, two Copa del Rey wins and the 2015 Champions League.
