Liverpool fans have been smiling all summer.
And so when comments emerged linking Jurgen Klopp with Barcelona last week, they kept on smiling.
Jordi Farre - one of the candidates to become Barca president when Josep Bartomeu steps down next year - looked to grab a foothold in the race for election when he said he'd been in conversation with Klopp's representatives.
These comments surprisingly followed the recent appointment of former Everton boss Ronald Koeman.
The Dutchman was unveiled as the Camp Nou's new manager on August 19 after Quique Setien was sacked following another agonising Champions League collapse for the Catalan giants.
When asked who would be his manager if elected in 2021, Farre told Diario Sport: "If Koeman works and does well, he would be, of course.
"Obviously, we have our road map and we had already started several conversations with Jurgen Klopp, because it seems to us that Barca need such a coach."

Liverpool fans and their summer-long smiles may have grown a little wider as they read what many have perceived to be a far-fetched admission from Farre.
That's because there is no worry of Klopp leaving Anfield anytime soon.
In December the boss proved his commitment to the club when he penned a new deal which will keep him around until 2024.
As well as this the 53-year-old was recently told he can stay as long as he wants by Chairman Tom Werner.
The American said: "I think you know that we think the world of him. We have already extended his contract once.
"All I can say is that it's obviously important that he stays for as long as he likes. We believe that he's committed to Liverpool."
Liverpool fans will no doubt echo this sentiment.
Klopp's success at the club speaks for itself. He's a club legend at the peak of his managerial powers. The idea of him leaving even next year is an unbelievable one to fathom.
If we are to take his recent admission seriously the iconic coach may never step into another role beyond his days in the Anfield dugout.
After guiding Liverpool to the Premier League title it was no surprise to see Klopp pick up some personal accolades.
One such award he added to his mantelpiece was Sport Bild's Manager of the Season.
Upon receiving the honour Klopp hinted at where his future might lie post-Liverpool.
He revealed: "I hope to continue like this, but within two, three years I don't know what may happen.
"Maybe I'll retire. That doesn't mean it'll happen, but if it does, don't be surprised."
Farre's comments then, in the grand scheme of a lot of things, seem quite irrelevant.
It was a claim that was never going to trouble or worry Liverpool's fanbase either.
Many would have viewed it as a cute attempt from the presidential candidate to rally up some support ahead of next year's big vote.
The 44-year-old, who ran for election in 2015, did, it has to be said, pick the right man to mention.
Who else would you want managing your football club right now other than Jurgen Klopp?
There are some answers to that question but not for Liverpool fans.
