Barcelona chief Javier Bordas has confirmed Neymar's return to the club is edging closer.
Barca officials met with Paris Saint-Germain chiefs on Tuesday in a bid to strike an agreement for Neymar's return to the Nou Camp.
Neymar is keen to make the move happen despite interest from Real Madrid .
Barca tabled an official bid of £150m but PSG want at least one player as part of the deal, with Nelson Semedo a target.
An agreement is yet to be reached but sporting director Bordas spoke to local media upon his arrival back in Spain.
"There is no agreement Not yet," Bordas said upon arriving at El Prat airport.
"We are still negotiating and I think we are closer."
Bordas was joined in Paris by Eric Abidal and CEO Oscar Grau for the negotiations.
Among those representing PSG were sporting director Leonardo and Nasser Al Khelaifi's lawyers.
The presence of Grau, who is in charge of Barca's transfer funds, could have a big impact on the deal being wrapped up sooner than expected.
Barcelona began their La Liga title defence with a 5-2 victory over Real Betis this weekend, with attackers Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez both missing out through injury.
PSG, who have won two of their first three matches, are also believed to have asked for Ousmane Dembele as part of the deal to take Neymar back to the Nou Camp.
Talks between the two clubs are likely to continue on Wednesday with Barca growing increasingly confident of completing the deal.
