Barcelona celebrated their latest victory over Alaves and closing on another La Liga title...with a Kevin Kyle meme.
The Spanish giants were 2-0 victors away to Babazorros thanks to second half goals from Carles Alena and Luis Suarez.
The win leaves them 12 points clear of second places Atletico Madrid and 16 ahead of great rivals Real Madrid in third.
Barca will be crowned champions if Atleti lose away to Valencia this evening.
As you’d expect, the club’s social media feeds contained the usual post-match congratulations and graphics.
However, eagle eyed Scottish browsers of their instagram story will have noticed a familiar face.
Former Hearts striker Kevin Kyle appeared in meme form on their full-time graphic featuring a photo of goal scorers Alena and Suarez confirming the score.
Kyle’s screaming face – from an image following his New Year’s Day derby winner against Hibs at Tynecastle in 2011 – with the caption “YAS!” was clearly deemed to perfectly illustrate Los Cules’ post-match delight.
It will certainly be the closest he gets to celebrating with Barcelona, but the big man will no doubt just be glad to be involved.
