Barca mad about the boy
Barcelona and Ajax have agreed a deal for defender Matthijs de Ligt. According to Marca , the two clubs have agreed a fee in the region of around £65 million ahead of this summer's window opening.
De Ligt has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Manchester City in recent weeks, but it now appears that the Spanish giants have stolen a march in the race for the 19-year-old's signature.
No-go for Griezmann
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has denied that Antoine Griezmann is preparing to leave the club to join Barcelona.
The French forward has been linked with a switch to the Catalan side having nearly signed for them last summer, but boss Simeone is keen to keep hold of his star man.
Speaking to Fox Sports , the Argentine said: "Antoine is our captain, I don’t care about the voices about his future at all.
“He has everything to keep growing here and also a contract for another two years. If I thought he could leave, I would certainly not speak about him.”
Madrid on the Mend
Elsewhere in Spain, Lyon left-back Ferland Mendy is a target for Real Madrid, as Los Blancos plan a squad overhaul.
According to Marca , Real have already made contact over a potential move for the 23-year-old in this summer's window. The Frenchmen has impressed this season and is seen as a long-term replacement for Marcelo.
Edin to Paris
While over in France, PSG are reportedly preparing to make a move for Edin Dzeko.
The former Manchester City striker has been linked with a move away from current club Roma, with Serie A rivals Inter Milan reportedly leading the race for the forward.
But France Football believe that the French giants have already approached Roma about a potential deal.
