Tammy Abraham and Ross Barkley were on target as Chelsea concluded their tour of Japan with a 2-1 win over Barcelona in the Rakuten Cup in Saitama.
Abraham slotted past Marc-Andre ter Stegen to hand the Blues the lead seven minutes before the interval, and Barkley rounded off an encouraging team performance with an effort from 20 yards nine minutes from time.
Ivan Rakitic scored a late consolation with a stunning strike from 20 yards, but the Blues held on to a well-earned victory.
With Barcelona missing Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, Griezmann had the chance to impress following his £107 million move from Atletico Madrid. Christian Pulisic was also handed his first start in a Chelsea shirt following his switch from Borussia Dortmund, starting on the left side of the attacking midfield.
But it was the Blaugrana who had the first opportunity, with Oriol Busquets - no relation to Sergio - heading over from Griezmann's flick-on after a well-worked corner routine.

Barcelona dominated the early possession, passing it around patiently and confidently, but failed to find a way to breach the resilient Chelsea backline.
The Blues had to wait a while for their first chance on goal and only Abraham will know how he didn't score. Pulisic's effort stung the hands of ter Stegen and as he dropped the ball, Abraham only had to tap home on the rebound. But somehow, the towering striker ballooned his effort over the bar.
Still, the chance appeared to give the Blues a boost and within a minute of Abraham's miss, Mason Mount sent a long-range effort over the bar by a couple of inches.
Against the run of play, Chelsea took the lead after a rare blunder by Sergio Busquets. The midfield general was robbed of possession by Jorginho on the edge of his own box and the Italy man found Abraham, who made no mistake this time, slotting past ter Stegen.
Pulisic nearly doubled the lead two minutes later, showcasing his blistering pace to get past Sergi Roberto before firing into the side netting.

Barca coach Ernesto Valverde changed his entire team at the break, sending on De Jong for his first outing, as he looked to overturn the deficit.
It was the Barca B youngster Carles Perez, however, who caught the eye. The 21-year-old, playing from the left, beat his compatriot Cesar Azpilicueta with a quick turn of pace and tested Kepa twice in the space of a minute.
The Spanish goalkeeper had to be alert to deny Rafinha and Carles Alena from outside the box but showed a pair of safe hands as he had throughout the match.
Lampard continued to experiment with his line-up, bringing on Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi to form a two-man strikeforce.

But it was Barkley who put the game beyond doubt nine minutes from time. After a slick passing move, the England midfielder was found by Marcos Alonso on the edge of the box: his mishit effort crept inside Neto's near post to round off an impressive display from Lampard's men in Japan, with Rakiticv's fierce injury-time effort a mere consolation for Barca.
