Former EastEnders actress Dame Barbara Windsor will make her first TV appearance since she confirmed her Alzheimer's diagnosis last year, as she appears on Loose Women on Thursday.
The 81-year-old TV EastEnders legend revealed last May that she had been diagnosed with the disease - the most common form of dementia - and had already been fighting the condition since April 2014.
She will appear on the ITV daytime show with husband Scott Mitchell, who has often spoken about his wife’s condition over the past year.
Speaking on the show on Wednesday, host Ruth Langsford announced the news at the end as she revealed who would be joining the panel the following day.
Dame Barbara Windsor no longer recognises own home due to Alzheimer's disease

She confirmed both Barbara and Scott would be there, with the pair set to discuss her battle with Alzheimer’s.
Ruth said: "Tomorrow Barbara Windsor along with her husband Scott Mitchell will be here."
It comes amid comments she no longer recognises her own home.

Friends and family have been sharing updates on her progress - and now the actress herself has provided an update during a radio interview.
Sadly the TV star has continued to experience a deterioration and can now no longer recognise her own home, revealing the information as she shared news that she is losing many of her most treasured memories.
“There's good and bad days, the confusion does progress and that becomes a lot more stressful for her to live with and you as the carer to watch,” she told BBC Radio 2.

Her husband, Scott Mitchell, was also on air to give further information on Babs’ situation. “I think what I've learnt by talking to other people is it's very different for every case,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Loose Women viewers took to Twitter over the news of her TV return.
One viewer tweeted: "Barbara Windsor & Scott will be ok Loose Women tomorrow. Will be so nice to see her again."
Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30 on ITV.
