Dame Barbara Windsor has left £1000 in her will to a former EastEnders co-star.
The acting legend died last December at the age of 83 after a battle with Alzheimer's and the contents of her will have since been revealed, with the star dishing out money to one of her long time friend's and co-stars.
£4.6 million of her estate went to her husband Scott Mitchell whilst she also left money for a number of charities including NSPCC, Breast Care, Help The Aged, showbiz organisation Grand Order Of Lady Ratlings, National Osteoporosis Society, Headley Court wounded soldiers rehab centre and Age UK all receiving £1000 each.
She handed the same amount to her friend and former co-star on the BBC One soap, Anna Karen, The Sun reports.
Anna played Peggy Mitchell's sister on the show, but they first met when they starred in the Carry On films together.
Barbara's sister-in-law Marsha Alexander and her husband Laurence received £5000, whilst her cousins Leslie Larsen and Julie Elliot received £2000 each, reports suggest.
The soap star worked tirelessly with charities to raise awareness of dementia research before her sad death.
Her husband Scott has vowed to hold a special memorial for Barbara next year.
"I'm definitely getting something together for next year," he told The Mirror.
"I have to give myself time - it’s only been nine months since she passed. I’m still processing it. But there will be something next year. We’ll make sure all her friends who couldn’t be at the funeral can get together and remember her."
Her friend Ross Kemp - who played her on-screen son Grant Mitchell - also has a special way to keep Barbara's memory alive.
"I have a picture of her in my office, she gave that picture to me virtually when I first met her," he said to The Mirror.
"It’s of her in her twenties, it has a special message. She’s timeless, we are very flippant, transient and in a disposable kind of time, sadly, as you can see by all he plastic that washes up in the ocean, but she is pretty timeless."
"I hope that people will carry on remembering what a great person she was," he continued.
"She truly was one of those icons, she was a national treasure."
