Barack Obama has shared a heartwarming message for his wife Michelle on her 55th birthday.
The former US president described his wife as “one of a kind” as he shared a throwback image of the couple on social media.
Mr Obama captioned the image: I knew it way back then and I’m absolutely convinced of it today – you’re one of a kind”.
The touching tribute for the former First Lady comes after Mr Obama shared an equally sweet one on their 26th wedding anniversary.
He wrote: "For 26 years, you’ve been an extraordinary partner, someone who can always make me laugh, and my favourite person to see the world with."
Michelle retweeted Barack's post and added: "Thank you @barackobama for 26+ years of love, trust, and respect—for being a man who always lifts up and honours me and our wonderful girls.
“Each day I’m with you, I’m reminded of what a treasure you truly are to us all."
