Former U.S President Barack Obama has revealed himself to be a huge fan of Fife pastries.
Eagle-eyed Twitter users were beside themselves with joy after discovering the ex-POTUS followed Stephen's Bakery in Dunfermline.
The discovery was made after Greggs Bakery announced a drive-thru restaurant had been approved in Glasgow.
One local was less than impressed, tweeting that popular Stephen's Bakery already ran a 'drive-in' service in Fife.
In a shocking turn of events, the Twitter user discovered they had a follower in common - Obama.
In an even more confusing twist in the tale, Stephen's Bakery - who have shops in Dunfermline, Rosyth, Kirkcaldy and Stirling - aren't even following the former US president back.
Twitter has gone into meltdown since the news, leading people to question why Obama, who has 121.6m followers, is following the family-run bakery - best known for their 'tasty bridies'.
Some suggested that the 59-year-old is secretly a Dunfermline Athletic fan, as the team are known for supplying steak bridies from the bakery to their fans.

Managing Director of Stephen's Bakery, André Sarafilovic said: "We can’t say too much about any shipments to the White House during Obama’s presidency, as that information is classified.
"Let’s just say the allure of a Stephen’s Steak Bridie is too much for even one of the most powerful people in the world."
