Barack Obama is the latest high-profile name to confirm their attendance at the COP26 summit in Glasgow.
The news comes just shortly after it was announced US President Joe Biden would travel to our city.
Around 30,000 people, including world leaders and dignitaries, are expected to visit Glasgow in November for the COP26 international summit on climate change.

The conference, which takes place between Sunday, October 31 and November 12, is set to be one of the largest events ever hosted in the UK.
A spokesperson for Obama confirmed on Friday: "He will lay out the important progress made in the five years since the Paris Agreement took effect, highlight the leadership of young people around the globe, and urge more robust action going forward by all of us - governments, the private sector, philanthropy, and civil society."
Earlier this week, a White House statement said Joe Biden and the First Lady will visit Rome for the G20 leaders' summit on the weekend of October 30 and 31.
The couple and their entourage will then fly to Scotland to attend COP26 on November 1 and 2.
The US President was heavily rumoured to be on the guest list for the global summit on Clydeside after he previously admitted he was "anxious" to attend.
The opening sessions of the summit are expected to be attended by dozens of political leaders as well as The Queen.
The climate change talks are said to be the most significant since the Paris Agreement was made six years ago in the French capital.
For COP26 to deliver the action needed, countries must have plans to significantly cut greenhouse gases by 2030 and reach net zero emissions by 2050.
