A Stockport cafe bar which temporarily closed after a customer tested positive for coronavirus is reopening today.
Rocksalt Cafe Bar in Heaton Moor closed its doors on Sunday, immediately after learning that a customer who had sat outside the venue the previous day had received a positive result on a Covid-19 test.
It informed customers who had been on surrounding tables, as well as Public Health England, and sent staff for tests.
Now it has shared on social media that staff all tested negative for the virus, and the venue has undergone a deep clean.
The post, shared on Monday night, reads: "This is to let everyone know that we will reopen our doors tomorrow morning (Tuesday).
"The entire premises have been fully sanitised and all staff results are negative.
"I urge all our beloved customers to adhere to the one way system, sanitise their hands before entering and use the entrance and exit doors.
"This is to ensure we are all kept safe and well. Thank you again for all your support and messages".
Rock Salt was one of two bars on Heaton Moor Road to temporarily close over the weekend to protect staff and customers, after a customer tested positive for the virus.
The other, Moortop Pub and Kitchen a few doors away, has yet to confirm a reopening date.
