Bar Vini is set to open on Victoria Road, serving up apertivo and antipasti to hungry southsiders.
Glasgow Live revealed last month the street was set for a new Italian-style food and drink venue, and bosses have now confirmed they'll throw open their doors on Wednesday, September 11.
Teasing customers as to what they can expect, Bar Vini staff say: "We will open the front wine and antipasti bar for one month, and then we will launch the trattoria back room.
"Great selection of wine by the glass and a small antipasti menu with aperitivo running daily from 4pm-6pm - aperitivo is Italy's version of happy hour - and we will have a few surprise nibbles on the bar.
"Grazie Mille."
And if photos on Instagram are anything to go by then Bar Vini is definitely going to be one to visit.
The bar and eatery can be found at 80 Victoria Road, the site previously occupied by The Depot, next to Lagom Kitchen and Nanika (one of our latest glowing reviews).
The team behind Bar Vini were previously involved in running popular Battlefield coffee spot Pena, before announcing its closure at the end of next week, with Common Ground Southside set to take its place.
