Bank robbed in Jefferson Park

Someone robbed a bank Monday in Jefferson Park on the Northwest Side.

About 3 p.m., the male suspect entered the Hoyne Savings Bank, 4786 N. Milwaukee Ave., and announced a robbery, according to Chicago police and the FBI.

An FBI spokeswoman said agents responded to the robbery but did not immediately provide further details.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700.
