After a washout Early May bank holiday, many people will be wondering when they next get an extra, hopefully sunnier, day off.
So far New Year's Day, the Easter weekend and Early May bank holiday have been and gone.
But there are four more bank holidays to look forward to this year.
With one in May and another in August, you could have some much-needed time off.
But looking further ahead, Christmas Day and Boxing Day this year fall on Saturday and Sunday.
If a bank holiday is on a weekend, a ‘substitute’ weekday becomes a bank holiday, normally the following Monday.
Your employer doesn’t have to give you paid leave on bank or public holiday and bank holidays might affect how and when your benefits are paid.
This year, the Christmas bank holidays will be "observed" on December 27 and 28.
