Dublin is set to be lashed with thunder and heavy showers as Met Eireann has issued a weather warning for some parts of the country.
Sunday morning will start of well enough with dry and sunny spells and some isolated showers.
But the national forecaster has warned of the risk of local floods in the capital due to heavy downpours in the afternoon.

Temperatures will hit the highs of 22C.
A Status Yelllow rainfall warning has been issued for Connacht, Donegal, Clare and Kerry.
Showers will ease off during the night and it’ll be largely dry and a little misty towards dawn.
Lowest nighttime temperatures will be 12C or 13C.
Monday will see further showers with sunny spells in between with temperatures of 18C to 22C.
Clear spells predicted for Monday night as the showers die out with temperatures of 11C to 12C.
Tuesday will be rainy again with similar temperatures of 18C to 22C but Tuesday night will be largely dry as showers die out.
