Bank Holiday scenes with huge singalong of Sweet Caroline in Newcastle

With some absolutely amazing weather over the weekend, August Bank Holiday was always going to be a belter in Newcastle and there was only one place to be in town on Saturday night.

After the first two instalments of it totally packed out Stack, with the last one on Ladies Day, huge singalong event Kroud Karaoke returned to the Pilgrim Street hotspot for it's busiest night yet.

The mass participation party has quickly established itself as an event that everyone is talking about and plenty of people got themselves in early doors to make sure they didn't miss out on the Bank Holiday special.

On Kroud Karaoke's debut it was Robbie Williams' Angels that had everyone raising their voices in unison but this time round it was a much more upbeat track that did the business.

If there is one song that can always be relied on to get everyone joining in, whether they are in Cosy Joes or Benidorm strip, it's Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline.

All together now "hands.....touching hands.....reaching out...touching me....touching you."

And you only have to watch the video above to see that it went down an absolute treat at Kroud Karaoke!

Organisers have dubbed Saturday night's as "a mini-Glastonbury." They posted on Facebook "Wow....

"WHAT . A . SHOW

"Thanks to everyone that came down, you where all amazing!"

The next Kroud Karaoke is at Stack on Saturday, September 21 at 7pm. Entry is free.
