Supermarkets across Bristol have updated shoppers on their opening hours for the Bank Holiday weekend.
This year, early May bank holiday will be celebrated tomorrow (Friday, May 8) to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Those planning to do their essential shop on Friday or over the weekend should be aware of opening hours at their nearest supermarket.
Hull Live reports that many supermarkets change their hours on a bank holiday but some stores will operate the same trading times.
Here's all the opening times you need for tomorrow:
Tesco opening times bank holiday Friday
Stores are operating their normal opening hours on Friday but could change from store to store.
If you're planning to shop on bank holiday then it would be worth checking Tesco's store locator to find out more about your local.
Marks and Spencer
While store opening hours will vary depending on the store, it would appear there is no change to trading times on bank holiday Friday.
It's worth noting the first hour is dedicated to NHS and emergency workers between 8am and 9pm.
Aldi
Aldi's opening hours for the bank holiday weekend are:
Friday: 8am to 8pm
Saturday: 8am to 10am
Sunday: 10am to 4pm
The supermarket has asked customers to please note that store opening hours may differ depending on location.
Morrisons
The supermarket has told our sister website Hull Live that store opening hours will not change but warned that opening hours can vary from store to store.
The majority of Morrisons stores are open 7am - 10pm on Monday to Saturday.
This is 9.30am - 4pm on Sunday.
Sainsbury's
For the May Bank holidays supermarkets will be open from 8am to 8pm.
Throughout the rest of May, the vast majority of supermarkets are open from 8am to 10pm.
A small number of Sainsbury’s Locals and supermarket opening times may vary and be subject to change so the company asks that customers check the store locator for the most up to date information.
Lidl
During the bank holidays, Lidl has confirmed the majority of stores across England and Wales will be open from 8am - 8pm.
While stores within the M25 and Scotland will be open as normal.
