Bank Holiday Monday weather forecast in Leeds

Forecasters in Leeds are predicting a chilly Bank Holiday Monday, with temperatures dropping as low as 4C.

The glorious weather of the Easter weekend feels like a lifetime ago, with no sign of those glorious spells of sunshine returning anytime soon.

According to The Weather Channel, today(May 6) the mercury will rise only as high as 9C in Leeds, with a not so good 80 per cent chance of rain.

The outllook is not as bad when looking at Met Office predictions, with the most likely time for the wet stuff coming between 4pm and 8pm.

Until then, there is only a 20 per cent chance of rain in Leeds.

Rest of the week

Expect rain on Tuesday through to Thursday, with temperatures slowly climbing to 13C by Friday.

Next weekend (May 11 - 12) looks relatively clear with highs of 15C and only a 10 per cent chance of rain.
