Bank Holiday dates remaining for Northern Ireland in 2021

As we look forward to the Summer Bank Holiday on Monday, August 30, we thought we would keep the spirits high by putting together details of the remaining holidays in Northern Ireland for 2021.

With glorious weather predicted for the upcoming holiday, many of us will want to keep that happy feeling going with knowing when we can next expect a day off work.

Whether you have plans to go shopping or to grab dinner and a few drinks, the holidays are a great way to get plans sorted to catch up with family and friends.

Bank holidays are holidays when banks and many other businesses are closed for the day, while public holidays are holidays which have been observed through custom and practice, such as Christmas Day.

When a holiday falls on the weekend, a substitute weekday becomes the Bank Holiday.

Bearing that in mind, here are the details of the remaining holidays in Northern Ireland this year:

Summer Bank Holiday - August 30

Christmas Day - December 25

Christmas Day (in lieu) - December 27

Boxing Day (in lieu) - December 28
