Police are currently in attendance at a security alert in Bangor.
Residents in the Killaire Wood Lane area have been evacuated after the discovery of a suspicious object during the early hours of Monday morning.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently in attendance at a security alert in the Killaire Wood Lane area of Bangor after a following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area during the early hours of this morning, Monday 13 January.
"A number of homes in the area have been evacuated. There are no further details at this time."
