Bangor's Northern Bank up for sale for £375,000

It was a bustling bank until earlier this year and now this Co Down building is on the market.

The former Northern Bank on Main Street in Bangor is up for sale for £375,000 with Osborne King.

The listed building was originally built as a Market House in 1780 and subsequently converted to the town hall in 1933 becoming the Northern Bank in 1952.

It was later known as Danske Bank before it announced it was closing the branch in May this year.

It is understood in the 1880s the Bangor Musical Society organised concerts on the first floor.
