Bangkok CentralWorld fire: Three dead after blaze at massive shopping centre in Thailand

At least three people have died after a fire broke out at a major shopping centre in Bangkok.

Thai media reported one of the people who died had jumped from one of the complex's buildings.

Footage showed smoke pouring over the Thai capital from the CentralWorld complex as flames took hold.

There were unconfirmed reports that one person had died during the incident after jumping to escape the inferno.

Huge crowds were seen gathered outside as hundreds of people rushed out of the building.

The fire department said the blaze was extinguished but smoke still needed to be released from several floors.

Firemen could be seen entering the building with masks and oxygen tanks.
