A medley of Bon Jovi songs were played outside Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Guard to launch the recording of a new charity single.
The Band of the Household Guard, which featured a full brass section, covered hits by the American rock band such as It's My Life, Livin' On A Prayer and You Give Love A Bad Name.
It came as Prince Harry teamed up with the band's leader Jon Bon Jovi to record a charity single "Unbroken" for the Invictus Games Foundation.
A choir made up of veterans and serving personnel from the British military feature on the song created by Jon Bon Jovi to shine a spotlight on those living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Proceeds from the sale of the record will go to the foundation that supports the Invictus Games, a sporting event for sick and injured veterans that is one of Harry's favourite causes.
The song is being recorded at the Abbey Road studios and the pair were pictured with two members of the foundation's choir recreating the iconic Beatles album cover on Friday.
A video of the two wearing headphones, with Jon Bon Jovi strumming a guitar before beginning to sing was posted on the official Instagram page of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle .
Bon Jovi praised the duke for finding the time to tour the studios, despite the turbulent period he has been through since stepping down from royal duties.
Jon Bon Jovi, whose parents were both in the U.S. Marine Corps, told reporters he had a lot of respect for the royals.
He added: "I just want to give them a hug."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in January that they would step down from their duties as senior royals to become financially independent in North America with their baby son Archie.

Harry was at the studio in north west London to meet the American rock singer and members of a military veterans' choir in one of his last engagements as a senior member of the royal family.
The pair walked across the black and white pedestrian crossing to replicate the 1969 release of the "Abbey Road" album.
They were led by a military veteran in a wheelchair to promote a new charity single by The Invictus Games Choir.
