The BananArt project in Japan focuses on the theme of sharing fruits. In this web video by Unifrutti Japan Corporation, nearly 100 elementary school children and 1,500 bananas come together to illustrate how bananas are shared between Philippine producers and Japanese consumers.

The BananArt illustrations, which were done by the schoolchildren on bananas, were displayed in classrooms on a specially constructed hanging rail system. The bananas are presented through the use of various filming techniques, such as one-frame shooting, to create an entertaining animated video. Bananas become the communication vehicle helping to explain where bananas come from, where they are sold and who eats them.
