The Baltimore Ravens are once again opening training camp to the fans. The Ravens announced they’ll have 15 open training camp practices, including one at M&T Bank Stadium.
But with training camp officially opening for fans on July 25, what should people expect? See below for the most frequently asked questions about attending the Ravens’ 2019 training camp.
1) Where does the Ravens’ 2019 training camp take place?
Baltimore is holding 14 open practices at their Under Armour Performance Center at 1 Winning Drive, Owings Mills, Maryland 21117.
Baltimore is also holding one of their open practices at M&T Bank Stadium on July 27. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. ET with practice starting at 6:00 p.m. ET. This is the best chance for fans to attend since the stadium can hold far more people than the team’s practice facility and it gives you a lighter version of a Sunday gameday experience. There will be a fireworks and laser light show after practice as well as players signing autographs for children only.
2) Is training camp free to attend?
All 15 open training camp practices are free to attend. However, because space is limited, Baltimore was issuing tickets on a first-come, first-served basis and are now completely sold out.
The Ravens’ open practice at M&T Bank Stadium is free to attend with most concession stands open for food, drinks and merchandise for purchase. You must still claim free tickets on the Ravens’ website to attend.
3) Where do you park?
Practices being help at the team’s Under Armour Performance Center can park there on their assigned day. However, space is limited and there is overflow parking at NorthWest Regional park with a shuttle provided to bring fans in.
For the stadium practice, there is $10 parking in lots A, B, C, G and H. They accept both cash and credit.
4) Can you bring chairs to Ravens’ training camp?
No, you cannot bring chairs to practice. However, Baltimore has set up several sets of bleachers around the practice fields for fans to watch comfortably.
For the stadium practice, the lower levels will be open for fans to sit in the stands and watch practice.
5) Are backpacks or bags allowed at training camp?
Fans can bring bags to training camp but they can be no larger than 12-inches by 12-inches. Backpacks and duffle bags are strictly prohibited.
6) Can you bring food to practice?
Fans can bring a reusable water bottle to practice. There will also be food trucks at the Fan Zone area of the team’s Under Armour Performance Center practices. Concession stands will be open at the stadium practice.
7) Can you bring a camera to Ravens training camp?
Yes but under certain conditions. Pictures and video can be taken before and after but it’s prohibited during practice itself.
Fans are not allowed to bring specific video cameras, selfie sticks, tripods or monopods. The Ravens ask that cell phones are silenced during practice and used only during emergencies.
8) Are there bathrooms at practice?
Public restrooms are available around the practice fields for fans to utilize.
9) Is practice ever canceled?
Training camp practice can be canceled at any time and for any reason. However, it’s typically only done during poor weather that presents a danger to fans, players, coaches or staff. Before coming to training camp, fans should call 410-261-RAVE(7283) or go to the team’s official Twitter page to see if practice has been canceled or the schedule has been altered.
If practice is moved indoors or canceled, there are no make-up dates.
10) Are the Ravens players signing autographs?
Yes, players will be signing autographs and meeting with children 6-14 years old only, following practice. There are no guarantees to which players will be available after practice due to additional workouts and treatments needed, but most players make an effort to greet fans and sign things as they walk into the locker room.
At M&T Bank Stadium, special wristbands are available around the concourse for children to enter the autograph area following practice.
