It was suncream and shades all round for the opening day of the Balmoral Show .
With everything from prize-winning bulls to top tractors on show, revellers from across Northern Ireland and beyond flocked to the event for their annual farming fix.
And as well as all things agri, the iconic show, hosted by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society , this year features more than 650 trade stands, a top-class food pavilion and a host of family attractions.

More than 90 food and drinks companies will be showing off their wares.
There will be more excitement on Thursday with members of the young farmers’ members club battling it out to show off their machine handling skills, and take part in a traditional tug of war.
More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the four-day event - joining the 3,500 livestock on site to compete.
