Ballymiscaw Road reopened following crash

Police have reopened a road in Co Down following a collision.

Motorists had been advised to seek an alternative route following the RTC on the Ballymiscaw Road, Holywood.

Emergency services attended the scene earlier today.

A PSNI spokesperson said at the time: "Police are currently dealing with a Road Traffic Collision on the Ballymiscaw Road, Holywood and it is currently closed in both directions while emergency services deal with the incident.

"It would be advised to avoid the area and find another route for your journey."

Police have since issued an update, saying the road is now open.
