Ballymena United secured second spot in the Danske Bank Premiership last night - and with it the lucrative prize of European football.
It has been an impressive season for the Sky Blues under the guidance of manager David Jeffrey.
The last time the Braidmen recorded second place in the top flight of local football was way back in 1980, while their last top-three finish was the following year in 1981.
They are also guaranteed a windfall of at last £190,000 for reaching the Europa League qualifiers.
Fair to say there was a party atmosphere at the Showgrounds following last night's thrilling 4-3 win over Glenavon.
And the chief cheerleader was none other than Jeffrey.
The enigmatic Sky Blues boss joked that he felt as if he had "played 180 minutes of football" after watching the seven-goal thriller.
But he still had the energy to stoke the home fans up with some proper celebrating after the game, as this video shows:
Speaking after the game, Jeffrey said: "What I was thinking this week was I wish we were back to the old boring days when third place secured you European football. But I am just delighted that we don’t have to worry about that going into our final game this Saturday.
“We have secured second and secured it well, and all the best to the teams going into the playoffs because we have been there."
