Ballylesson Road in Belfast closed after two vehicle crash

Police have closed a road between Belfast and Lisburn after a two vehicle crash.

The Ballylesson Road is expected to remain closed between the Pinehill Road and Fort Road for some time and there are long delays in the area.

Police and the fire service are in attendance.

A PSNI spokesman said: "The Ballylesson Road, Belfast, is currently closed following a two vehicle road traffic collision. Police and colleagues from NIFRS are in attendance, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journeys."
