Primary school children are suspected of vandalising a women’s centre in East Belfast .
Images of the pre-school run by volunteers at the Ballybeen Women’s Centre were posted on social media.
And a spokesperson for the centre says the toddler’s group has been put at risk by the damage.
Social media pictures showed vandalism to the soft play area, plastic piping containing electrical cables pulled away from the walls, graffiti and other belongings strewn across the play area.
It is understood the damage was caused in an overnight attack.
A spokesperson for the centre said: "We have been shocked by the vandalism to our pre-school which was caused by primary school children.
"We are appealing to parents to talk to their children about the consequences of this behaviour and the risks to themselves, especially as electrical cables were pulled out.
"The pre-school is a vital resource to this community and continued vandalism puts it at risk."
