The Ballon d’Or odds may have taken a decisive turn with Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele now the odds-on favourite to scoop the individual honour.

Ballon d’Or 2025 Betting Odds: UCL Winner Dembele Eyes More Glory
Dembele was one of the catalysts to Paris Saint-Germain’s run to the first-ever Champions League title and finished the domestic season with 33 goals and 15 assists in 49 appearances for the French champions.
He bagged two assists in PSG’s 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the UCL final and while he was overshadowed by some of his team mates in the title-decider, his contribution to the Parisians’ success was recognised by Uefa, who named the 28-year-old the Champions League player of the season.
Dembele was also named Ligue 1 player of the season after scoring 21 league goals in just 29 appearances and is finally fulfilling his potential having been plagued by injuries during his time at Barcelona.
Dembele leads a strong contingent of PSG players in the reckoning for the Ballon d’Or, according to the market on some betting apps, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Desire Doue and Achraf Hakimi listed among the top 10 contenders.
Dembele’s biggest rivals are likely to be from outside the PSG dressing room though with Yamal seeking recognition for an outstanding season at Barcelona.
Ballon d’Or 2025 Betting Odds: Only Way is up For Yamal
It’s been a remarkable two-year spell for Yamal, who was being used largely as a substitute by Barcelona at the start of the 2023/24 season but is now the star of Hansi Flick’s side and played a keep role in Spain’s Euro 2024 success last summer.
Still just 17, Yamal has managed 43 goal involvements this season for Barcelona, 13 of which came in the Champions League.
The Spaniard won the Kopa Trophy for best young player at the Ballon d’Or awards last year, and pressed home his claims for the main prize with a pair of fantastic performances against Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals.
Yamal is the top contender from LaLiga, jumping ahead of team mate Raphinha, who had been the 9/4 favourite in the Ballon d’Or odds in March but has been pushed back out since then.
Kylian Mbappe remains a serious contender, with some betting sites with bet365 pricing him at 12/1, but other football betting sites have dismissed the claims of the Real Madrid man by pushing him out to 50/1.
2025 Ballon d’Or Odds: Salah Set To Fall Short
