Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was left with a fractured eye socket having being attacked on a train from Balloch.
The attack happened on the 5.38pm service on July 31 as the train headed from Balloch to Drumry.

The victim was with his girlfriend when he was punched by the attacker who boarded at Singer station.
He then left the train at Drumry.
