Balloch holiday park wins top accolade at prestigious awards ceremony

A Balloch holiday park has won a top award naming it the best holiday park in Scotland.

Lomond Woods, which is located in Balloch, picked up the top accolade at the Scottish Hospitality Awards last month.

The family owned site was opened by Colin and Margaret Wood in 1994.

Previously called Tullichewan Caravan Park, the site has since been renamed and is now known as Lomond Woods.

Over the years, it has won a number of awards, including a five-star rating from Visit Scotland.

Delighted park manager, Tricia Farragher said: “We are absolutely delighted to have received the award for Best Holiday Park at the Scottish Hospitality Awards.

“A huge thank you to all our loyal customers who voted for us, we couldn’t have won without your continuing support.”

“We have a fantastic team at Lomond Woods who contributed massively in achieving this award, so thank you all.”
