Police are continuing to appeal to witnesses to come forward following a serious assault at the weekend in broad daylight in Balloch Park.
A 19-year-old man was left with a serious head injury following the “large scale disturbance” at around 3.30pm following an influx of visitors to the Loch Lomond area.
The suspect is described as a male aged between 16 and 20.
Detective Constable Geoff McKillop from CID is appealing for people with any information to come forward.
He said: “There were hundreds of people within the park at the time of the incident.
“Some may have videoed or photographed the incident on mobile phones, and may have footage with important evidence on it.
“I am looking for anyone who witnessed the disturbance, and anybody that took videos or photos within the park at that time to get in touch by calling 101, quoting incident reference number 2454 of July 17.”
