Ballet shoes is about three girls. One found in a boat at sea, one orphaned and one adopted. Together they are raised by nana and garny in a big house. As they grow older the great great grandfather doesn't come back to give them more money from his travels so the three girls go to a dance and play school.
When they get older they can earn money for performing! But they are not getting enough and they might have to sell the house! I love this book so much because it is so exciting and funny at once!
