The West Australian Ballet presents five new works in their Ballet at the Quarry season for Perth International Arts festival. The headline piece, On the Nature of Daylight, is a pas de deux about the extraordinary mystery of love, choreographed by David Dawson to music by Max Richter.
The other works include 5, which was choreographed for five dancers to music from Adolphe Adam’s Giselle; New Work by Craig Davidson; Andre Santos’s In Black about a dancer’s training; and To the Point, a hip-hop ballet fusion piece with dancers from the West Australian Ballet and B-boy champion Pepito.
