A Co Down road has been closed after a serious crash.
Police have closed the Ballagh Road in Newcastle this afternoon, Friday, July 19.
No further details have been released but motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
A PSNI spokesman said: "Motorists are advised that the Ballagh Road, Newcastle is closed due to a serious road traffic collision this afternoon. Diversions are in place."
Police have also issued a statement about the Westlink in Belfast this afternoon.
The spokesman added: "Motorists are advised that lane three of the Westlink east bound, just after the junction with Broadway roundabout, is currently blocked by a broken down vehicle. Please proceed with due care and attention."
