Bale set for Real Madrid exit, Barcelona eye Man United star - European transfer rumours

It is set to be an extremely busy summer in the Premier League, as clubs across the division look to bolster their squads ahead of the new season in August.

A host of expensive deals are expected to go ahead with several big names linked with a move to the Premier League, while other notable names could leave the division, as Real Madrid completed a deal for Chelsea's Eden Hazard and also have Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen in their sights.

Plenty of rumours are floating around and here are some of the latest from across the continent.

Real set for summer clear out

Real Madrid are looking to offload 10 players this summer.

According to the Mirror , Los Blancos are looking to overhaul their squad in the upcoming window, but are so far struggling to tempt clubs into purchasing their bit-part players.

Former Spurs man Gareth Bale is reportedly one of those set to be allowed to leave the Bernabeu.

Barca eye United star

According to Spanish newspaper Sport , Barca have made the 21-year-old a priority in this summer’s transfer window.

Adrien Rabiot transfer switch

Adrien Rabiot’s summer transfer saga looks to have taken a fresh twist.

Despite being linked with a move away from PSG, with Manchester United continually linked, the midfielder could now stay with the French giants, by signing a new contract with the club.

According to Le10 Sport , newly appointed sporting director Antero Henrique is trying to convince the 24-year-old to commit his long-term future to the club.

Draxler turns down move to Germany

Julian Draxler has rejected a potential return to Schalke.

According to the Mirror , representatives for the German side have approached the player’s representatives over a potential move.

But Draxler, who has two years left on a big-money deal, has no interest in a return to Gelsenkirchen.

Matthijs de Ligt backed to join Barcelona by international team-mate

Frenkie de Jong is hoping his international team-mate Matthijs de Ligt will join him at Barcelona.

De Ligt has been continually linked with a move to the Nou Camp, but the Catalan club appear to have cooled their interest in the centre-back.

But when asked about the pair potential linking back up at club level, De Jong said: “I hope De Ligt will come with me to Barça, I hope so".
