Bale, Depay, Werner, de Ligt and Coutinho - every player linked with Liverpool in the summer transfer window so far

Liverpool are yet to wrap up their season as they prepare for the Champions League final on Saturday.

Nevertheless the rumour mill is already in full flow and a whole host of names from across Europe have been tipped for potential moves to Anfield.

Fans will have to wait to see if Klopp manages to sign any new talent ahead of his side's pre-season trip to the United States.

Transfer rumours have included former Reds players as well as those who used to wear the colours of Manchester United.

Here are all the players reported to be linked with a possible transfer to Liverpool this summer.

Maxwel Cornet

22-year-old Lyon winger Maxwel Cornet has found himself subject to wild speculation about a move to Anfield.

He has had a decent season in France, albeit as an impact player off the bench, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists in 27 Ligue 1 appearances, of which only 12 were starts.

Memphis Depay

The former Manchester United forward has enjoyed a great season for Lyon in Ligue 1.

Depay has bagged 12 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions.

With Sturridge rumoured to be on the way out of Anfield, Depay is being tipped to be a replacement attacking option and apparently comes highly rated by fellow Dutchmen Virgil van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum.

Gareth Bale

The Welsh international is possibly the most outlandish rumoured target of the summer so far.

Also heavily linked with Manchester United, fans are cynical that Gareth Bale will be the man Jurgen Klopp turns to to bolster his squad given his age and wage demands.

All Liverpool fans know the story here and the so close £50 million deal.

The 25-year-old Frenchman continues to be linked with a move to Merseyside and Lyon's President has confirmed that the player will leave the club this summer.

Liverpool fans were eager for the 19-year-old to partner countryman Virgil van Dijk following impressive performances in the Champions League but the ECHO understands Jurgen Klopp's side have no plans to make a move for De Ligt

Phillipe Coutinho

The former Liverpool magician is having a terrible time at Barcelona apparently.

Inconsistencies on the pitch have meant that many of the Catalan faithful have been calling for the 26-year-old Brazilian to be sold.

It hasn't been long since the creative midfielder left Anfield but many are wishing that he will spurn Manchester United's rumoured advances and rejoin Klopp.

Isco

Former Malaga man Isco reportedly had a turbulent relationship with Zinedine Zidane previously at Real Madrid and, with the Frenchman’s return to the Santiago Bernabeu, the 27-year-old’s future has once again attracted speculation - though it is Juventus who are currently the most heavily linked for a move.

The 23-year-old has been tipped to be Real Madrid’s main man in the future but his services continue to be touted for other clubs, with Liverpool among them.

With the La Liga giants expecting to reshuffle the deck this summer, the arrival of someone like Eden Hazard could spark a domino effect in the market.

The playmaker has improved his reputation by starring for Wolves during his debut season in the Premier League, helping them secure a spot in the Europa League next term.

Top-flight clubs are keeping tabs on the 22-year-old, who is favoured for a move to Liverpool, according to SkyBet.

The 26-year-old has continued to be linked to the Merseyside giants for a reunion with his former boss at Dortmund.

However, Klopp has so far resisted signing him up with the German struggling with form and injury.

with seven goals and seven assists to his name - his highest totals since 2014/15. Could that mean he could finally make a move?

James Rodriguez

Another player long since rumoured to be a potential Coutinho replacement.

The 27-year-old Colombian has been on loan to Bayern Munich from Real Madrid but his future at either is unclear.

Max Kruse

Samuel Chukwueze

Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has put in some exciting displays for La Liga side this season.

The Nigerian has scored five goals and two goals in 19 appearances, in what has been a struggling Villarreal team, so those numbers are better than they seem.

Felipe Anderson

West Ham attacker Felipe Anderson enjoyed an excellent first season with the Londoners after signing from Lazio for around £40million. His displays for the Irons have now seen him tentatively linked to Liverpool.

Adrian

If Simon Mignolet leaves in search of first team action, the West Ham goalkeeper Adrian is being tipped to be one of the names that could become the Reds new back up to Alisson.

Julian Brandt

Long said to be a Liverpool target, the German's name was already in the rumour mill once the season was over.

He won't be joining though. Brandt signed for Klopp's former side Borussia Dortmund along with Thorgan Hazard for a combined £45 million.

Nicolas Pepe
