- Beloved children's television series Balamory is set to return to CBeebies more than two decades after its initial broadcast.
- The revamped format will feature familiar faces, including Julie Wilson Nimmo as Miss Hoolie and Andrew Agnew as Pc Plum, alongside new characters.
- Both Nimmo and Agnew expressed their surprise and excitement about reprising their roles, with Nimmo stating she "never expected" the comeback.
- New character Ava Potts, the daughter of original character Archie the inventor, will be played by Danielle Jam, who described it as a "pinch-me moment".
- Two new series, each comprising 10 episodes, will air, with the first episode scheduled for Monday at 5pm on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
