Shoppers cowered in fear after a gunfight broke out in an American shopping mall, injuring a child and an adult.
The victims, aged 15 and 20, were shot when two groups opened fire on each other in Valley Plaza Mall in Bakersfield, California, US, KBAK-TV reports.
One of the victims was a random shopper who was caught in the crossfire, while the other was a member of one of the groups involved in the clash.
Gunshots and panicked screams can be heard in footage filmed inside the mall.
Crowds of people can also be seen running for their lives in the clip.
Another video shows terrified shoppers hiding in the mall.

One Twitter user wrote: "We're on our way to the plaza valley my brother called crying cause he lost his friends because they heard gun shots in the mall. I'm literally shaking please be safe."
A witness who works in the mall told ABC News that he saw a group of 'kids' arguing just before his shift.
He added that shortly afterwards he heard around eight to 10 shots ring out from the same direction.
