Baker uses female urine from public toilets to make 'Goldilocks bread'

A French baker has been collecting female urine from public toilet to make special bread.

Louise Raguet harvests the urine to fertilise the wheat that she uses to make with her so-called 'Goldilocks bread'.

The self-confessed eco-feminist gathers the pee from female urinals in Paris which she then sprays on the wheat to create her bizarre baked goods, reports RT.

Louise claims urine is packed with nutrients and is a 'great fertiliser'.

The baker also wants to encourage a sustainable food cycle and to 'break taboos over excrement'.

She told the publication: "Urine is a great fertilizer. It’s a neglected liquid, usually dismissed as a waste product.

"But it is packed with nutrients and should be treated like a gold mine.

"It’s ideal to replace chemical fertilizers and avoid the pollution they cause.”

Louise dilutes the urine - which doesn't contain the same bacteria as feces does - 20 times before it is sprayed on the crops for the bread.

The urine can also be stored for three months as it is sterile.
