Baker shares 'petty' cake ordered by unimpressed workers for colleague that quit

A baker's cake has gone viral on social media after sharing a hilarious order from a company that wasn't too happy that an employee was moving on.

Instead of the usual 'good luck', a colleague requested a rather unexpected message for their co-worker who had quit.

In a post on TikTok, a user named @trashyqweenz, shared a cake he decorating it and branded it "petty" but it produced a few laughs too with its clever wit, reports the Mirror.

The cake featured a rainbow design and black text on the top, with sprinkles all the way around the sides.

The baker tells viewers: "Ok so whoever ordered this cake is the level of petty I aspire to be, like this may seem like a typical cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone will eat it and be happy but someone is salty.

"There's nothing worse than losing your work BFF when they quit, they are the ones that get you through, especially in the service industry as we all bond over complaining about everyone.

"Instead of 'good luck on your new endeavour' or 'congrats on your new job' this one is 'you're dead to us... goodbye forever QUITTER.'"

The cake was then branded the most considerate yet inconsiderate bake they'd ever made.

"Simple yet effective, funny, petty... we should be friends," the baker added.

The video quickly went viral, garnering over 617,000 likes and thousands of comments.

One person replied: "I made a cake for my friend that said 'good luck traitor' when she left our old job."

Another said: "My sensitive a** would cry reading that cake if it was for me lol."

While a third added: "My SO did this for his boss a few weeks ago. It was the hit of the office."
