Baker Mayfield so ready for Titans he ‘would play them in the parking lot’

Baker Mayfield is ready for the NFL season to start. Just like the fans who are anxious and excited to kick off meaningful football games after the preseason slog, Mayfield is chomping at the bit for “real” football.

How ready is Mayfield for the Week 1 game Sunday against the Tennessee Titans?

“I would play them in the parking lot.”

That was Mayfield’s answer when asked if he cared if they played the Titans at home or on the road. He’s ready.

“I am still excited,” Mayfield continued in his press conference on Wednesday. “It is finally putting the pads on. It is real. We have had a long offseason. It has been a long wait. I feel like it has been a longer one than last year. We are ready to go. I am ready to go. It is all business.”

Mayfield and the Browns host the Titans at FirstEnergy Stadium at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
