Baker Mayfield shotguns the QB competition in the scoreboard beer chug game

If ever there was any doubt that Baker Mayfield belongs in Cleveland, his Saturday night pretty much ends the debate. The Browns quarterback was at Progressive Field to watch the Indians host the Los Angeles Angels after a strong afternoon a few blocks away at the Orange and Brown scrimmage.

It’s hard to be an anonymous fan when you’re, well, Baker Mayfield. And the brash Browns leader reveled in being a Clevelander. Wearing a Francisco Lindor jersey and appearing happy while hanging in a suite with his new bride, Mayfield put on a show when the cameras found him.

In keeping with the tradition of recent scoreboard beer chugs by Aaron Rodgers (epic fail), Patrick Mahomes (decent) and Matthew Stafford (amazing), Mayfield polished off the can he was working on. Mayfield shotgunned the beer like a fraternity social chairman:

Kudos to the Indians social media team for slamming prominent Baker hater Colin Cowherd, too!
